Our story is truly rooted in family and friendship. Years ago, Carlos' father, and Daniela's mother worked as elementary school teachers at the same school, where they quickly became close friends. Soon after, Daniela’s dad and Carlos' mom joined the circle, and the four of them became inseparable. They would go on double dates, go out dancing, try new restaurants, and spend time at each other’s homes. Every December 27th, they’d gather for a special post-Christmas celebration, creating a tradition that brought our families even closer.

As the years passed, we grew up alongside each other. We spent many Christmases together as kids, forming a connection that would later bloom into something more. Around the time we were 11 or 12, those Christmas celebrations paused, and we lost touch for about six years.

Then, fate stepped in. We were both working at a local park. We reconnected, and our childhood friendship reignited. After months of getting to know each other again, I finally worked up the courage to ask her out. We started dating in 2003 and we haven’t looked back since. In 2009, after years of building a strong foundation, we got married. Now, over a decade later, we cherish the fact that our story began with our parents’ deep friendship and has grown into a love and family of our own. Knowing each other since we were kids has made our bond even more special, and we’re so grateful to now continue the traditions our families started.

Our lifestyle revolves around creating meaningful moments, whether it’s spending time with family or enjoying simple pleasures together. Family is at the heart of everything we do. From celebrating birthdays to gathering for casual Saturday or Sunday breakfasts, we cherish these times to reconnect and enjoy each other’s company. In the summertime, we love sitting outside by the pool, enjoying the weather, talking, and simply being present with one another.

We also make time to support loved ones, like cheering on our nephew at his basketball games or catching a Dodgers game. We love occasional beach trips or even a day trip to Disneyland to soak up the magic. Movie nights are another favorite, where we watch everything from classics to new releases, savoring the experience together.

Work and coaching are also part of our rhythm. Carlos coaches high school sports, which sometimes involves traveling and meeting new people—a great way to explore different parts of California.

Our lifestyle is balanced—fun and energetic but deeply rooted in family values. We can’t wait to share our traditions, experiences, and love with a child, teaching them about family, culture, and the joy of creating lasting memories together.

We regularly attend exciting community events like the weekly farmers market, food truck festivals, and seasonal celebrations. These include festive Christmas tree lightings, holiday tours, pumpkin patch festivals, and more. These events aren’t just about having fun, they create lasting memories that we look forward to sharing with a child and build a strong sense of belonging in the neighborhood.

Our community is thoughtfully designed for families. We have a private pool, basketball courts, and walking trails, along with a cozy kids’ play area and a small park that’s exclusively for our residents. For even more adventure, we’re walking distance to larger parks and even a nearby duck pond, perfect for a child to explore.

Our neighborhood is much more than just a place to live; it’s a place to create memories, friends, and annual traditions. Whether it’s attending a festive event or simply enjoying time outdoors, we want to ensure that a child feels happy, connected, and excited to call this community home.

Carlos comes from a close-knit family that has shaped who he is today. He has an older brother, who is married and has two children, and a younger sister—his lifelong best friends. They’ve guided him through life’s ups and downs. His parents still live in his childhood home, which remains the heart of the family. We all live nearby, within a radius of 20 miles. Family traditions are everything to us. Our time together is always full of laughter, playful competitions, and memories that make us stronger.

Daniela is blessed with the most loving parents who have taught her how to love, be cheerful, kind, and fun. She has an older sister, who is her best friend. The family loves spending time together, whether it’s going to concerts, shopping, or cooking. Their family parties are filled with laughter and dancing. They also enjoy watching sports like baseball, soccer, football, and basketball. The most important thing to them is simply being together, even if it’s just sitting and talking. Daniela’s parents still live in their childhood home, which is the heart of family celebrations.

We visit our families two or three times a week, maintaining a strong connection, which reminds them they are loved and cared for.
